    Daesh muestra ser el grupo terrorista más pujante y con mayor capacidad de acción directa de las últimas décadas, habiendo exhibido su capacidad para conquistar un territorio, como anteriormente los talibanes, mantenerlo y extender su influencia hacia otros. Para construir su imperio ha establecido Provincias, Walayat, dependientes del «Califato» en diversas partes de Asia y África.

    En su idea de extender su imperio hacia Oriente ha comenzado por las tierras conquistadas por los primeros Califas, de las que forma parte el antiguo Khurasan, como paso previo para avanzar hacia Indonesia.

    Allí ha encontrado dos países vulnerables, Afganistán y Pakistán, en los que el extremismo wahabita lleva décadas pugnando por establecerse definitivamente. Los talibanes y otros grupos extremistas han sido vislumbrados como la herramienta clave para lograrlo.

    Daesh has shown to be the most powerful terrorist group and with greater capacity to direct action in recent decades, having exhibited its ability to conquer a territory, as before the Taliban, maintain and extend its influence to others.
