    L’objectiu d’aquesta comunicació és presentar el programa Parellaes, programa d’intercanvi lingüístic entre català i gallec que s’està duent a terme a l’Àrea de Filologia Catalana de la Universitat de Santiago de Compostel·la d’ençà del 2009. Dirigit a estudiants gallecs que volen aprendre o millorar el català i a estudiants catalans que volen aprendre o millorar el gallec, Parellaes és una programa que no solament treballa el vessant lingüístic de l’intercanvi: practicar i millorar el català o el gallec, sinó també el sociocultural: descobrir la realitat cultural i sociolingüística de terres catalanes i gallegues, i comprendre així la situació de minorització que ambdues llengües comparteixen. A partir de la mateixa experiència del programa, s’exposaran els elements de difusió, formació, suport i avaluació de què és val l’Àrea de Filologia Catalana per a fer possible l’intercanvi, així com els reptes a què ha de fer front a l’hora de realitzar-lo. Tot això, sense menystenir el testimoni de les parelles lingüístiques d’aquests darrers anys, autèntics protagonistes d’aquesta modalitat formativa i veritables responsables del tàndem lingüístic.

    The purpose of this paper is to present the program Parellaes, a language exchange program between Catalan and Galician carried out by the Department of Catalan Philology at the University of Santiago de Compostela since 2009. Aimed to Galician students who want to learn or improve Catalan and Catalan students who want to learn or improve Galician, Parellaes is a program which not only works the linguistic aspect of exchange: practicing and improving Catalan or Galician, but also the sociocultural: discovering the cultural and sociolinguistic reality of Catalan and Galician lands and to comprehend in this way the minoritized situation that both languages share. The elements of promotion, formation, support and evaluation of the program will be explained from our own experience, together with the challenges to which we have to confront in order to make possible the exchange. All this, without underestimating the testimony of the linguistic pairs of these recent years, which are the authentic protagonists of this formative modality and real responsible of the linguistic tandem.
