Resumen de 1958: los estudiantes secundarios de Argentina toman las calles

  Con esta comunicación nos proponemos analizar algunos aspectos propios de la crisis de hegemonía vivida en Argentina a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, reconstruyendo las percepciones, creencias y temores de las clases dominantes sobre los jóvenes. Si bien la idea de peligrosidad y la consecuente negativización del otro atravesó a diversos colectivos de la sociedad argentina, nuestro interés analítico se centra en la conformación de una imagen de peligrosidad que se proyectó sobre los estudiantes del ciclo medio de enseñanza, cuyas edades oscilaban entre los 13 y 18 años. El objetivo es indagar cómo se configura este grupo, partiendo del proceso de irrupción de los jóvenes como actores sociales, políticos y culturales en el espacio público argentino. Dicho proceso lo podemos datar entre 1956 hasta 1958, cuando distintas fracciones de la clase dominante intentaron poner en funcionamiento un programa orientado a modificar el sistema educativo que fue abiertamente rechazado por los estudiantes secundarios.

  Abstract With this report we intend to analyze some typical aspects of the hegemony crises lived in Argentine from the second half of the twentieth century on, reconstructive the perceptions, beliefs and tears of the leading class about young people. Although the idea of dangerousness and the consistent negativity from the other side went through some groups of the argentine society, our analytic interest is focused on the conformation of an image of dangerousness that was thrown over high school students, whose ages rated from 13 to 18 years old. The aim is to find out how this group is made, staring from the process of irruption of young people as social, political and cultural actors all over argentine public scene. This process dates from 1956 to 1958, when different factions of the leading classes tried to bring into operation a program to change the educational system that was ratly rejected by the high school students.
