    Los cuentos infantiles cumplen una función lúdica y educativa como herramienta socializadora para la transmisión de valores, normas, actitudes, creencias y modelos sociales o culturales, así como, para la construcción de la personalidad y la identidad de las personas. Además, desde una perspectiva de género los cuentos pueden convertirse en un poderoso recurso coeducativo, de hecho, el concepto de coeducación aplicado a los cuentos infantiles tiene como principal finalidad favorecer la transmisión de nuevos modelos de relación entre hombres y mujeres basados en la igualdad, la paz y la justicia y alejados de estereotipos sociales y culturales sexistas (Castaño, 2013) En el presente texto, se tratará de reflexionar sobre el tipo de valores que se transmiten en los cuentos infantiles, analizando de forma consciente su currículo oculto. Se realizará una revisión sistemática de estudios y artículos que muestran un análisis de los estereotipos de género presentes en los cuentos tanto a través del lenguaje utilizado en los textos como de la simbología de las imágenes e ilustraciones presentes en los mismos.

    The stories-tales fulfill a playful and educational function as a socializing tool for the transmission of values, norms, attitudes, beliefs and social or cultural models, as well as, for the construction of the personality and the identity of the people. In addition, from a gender perspective, stories-tales can become a powerful coeducational resource, in fact, the concept of coeducation applied to children’s stories has as its main purpose to favor the transmission of new models of relationship between men and women based on equality, peace and justice and away from sexist social and cultural stereotypes (Castaño, 2013) In this paper, I will try to reflect on the type of values that are transmitted in stories-tales, consciously analyzing their hidden curriculum. There will be a systematic review of studies and articles that show an analysis of the gender stereotypes present in the stories-tales both through the language used in the texts and the symbology of the images and illustrations present in them.
