    La disrupción a la que nos enfrentamos, más destacada en su intensidad que las que han acompañado al ser humano desde sus inicios, exige del derecho unos cambios que permitan al ordenamiento jurídico afrontar los nuevos y difíciles retos. La incertidumbre y los casos difíciles son las dos características más prominentes del contexto que al derecho le ha tocado ahora vivir. En estas circunstancias, los principios se presentan, frente a las tradicionales reglas, como las herramientas jurídicas idóneas que, además, pueden ser las que, paradójicamente, salven al jurista del riesgo de desaparecer ante el paradigma de la máquina y su inteligencia artificial.

    We are currently facing a disruption which is more intensive than those that have accompanied the human being since his beginning, and it requires from the Law to adopt some changes to allow the legal system to address correctly the new and difficult challenges. Uncertainty and hard cases are the two most prominent characteristics of the context which envolves Law. In this framework, the principles and not the traditional rules must play an important role as the ideal legal tools and, paradoxically, the principles can be those which will save the jurist from the risk of disappearing before the machine paradigm and its artificial intelligence.
