Pyrite-pyrrhotite and magnetite-i1menite associations in Tamargada's alkaline rocks are studied and used as geothermometric indicators. The former pair suggests a stability about 650- 700° C for primary idiomorphic types and less than 500°C for secundary allotriomorphic ones. Magnetite-ilmenite pairs, point out an interval about 700-790°C that Mould come up to the magmatic crystallization temperature.
