  • Calcite single-crystals were obtained by means of gel growth techniques at room T. Distribution and spatio-temporal evolution of first precipitation zones, under different experimental conditions, are examined, as well as the principal morphologies of the precipitates obtained. The average growth rate values for (1011) and (0001) faces were determined experimentally.-P.Br.
