    This study approaches the differential funeral treatment of children aged one year or younger, as related to the rest of age groups within the Iberian culture. It intends to find patterns by analyzing the characteristics of burials –types, burial sites, grave goods, age of individuals, etc.– within a concrete framework: Iberian sites located in the south and east of the Iberian Peninsula, dated between the 7th and 1st centuries BC. Based on these findings, conclusions will be drawn in order to clarify and fully explain the field of study.

    Amb aquest treball realitzem un estudi sobre el tractament funerari diferencial dels infants d’un any o menors respecte de la resta de la població a la cultura ibèrica. L’objectiu és poder trobar regularitats o patrons a partir de l’anàlisi de les característiques dels enterraments -tipologia, llocs d’enterrament, aixovar, edat dels individus, etc.-, pertanyents a diversos jaciments ibèrics situats al sud i franja est peninsulars i datats entre els segles VII i I aC, i a partir d’aquestes poder extraure conclusions que ens permeten esclarir aquesta qüestió.
