    El presente trabajo propone como objetivo un Sistema de Información Turística que contribuya al mejoramiento de la oferta de las playas rurales de Manta. La investigación posee un enfoque cuantitativo. Para el logro del objetivo se procedió a desarrollar cinco etapas, cada una de ellas con sus actividades, técnicas y herramientas. La primera se basa en un diagnóstico, en la segunda etapa se realizó una caracterización y análisis de la demanda, oferta y facilidades, a través de una encuesta y trabajo de campo. Como tercera etapa se realizó el diseño del sistema de información turística, en la cuarta etapa se propone la ejecución o desarrollo del sistema. En una última etapa, se propone el control y retroalimentación, es decir, conocer cuántas personas visitan la web y la información compartida de parte y parte. Se concluye expresando que con la propuesta se contribuirá a la mejora de la oferta de las playas rurales de Manta, siempre que se cuente con el apoyo de todos los actores de la escena turística local.

    The present work has the objective of proposing a Tourist Information System that contributes to the improvement of the offer of Manta’s rural beaches. The research has a quantitative approach. To achieve the goal, five stages were developed, each one with its activities, techniques and tools. The first stage is based on a diagnosis, in the second stage a characterization and analysis of demand, supply and facilities was carried out, through a survey and field work. As a third stage, the design of the tourist information system was carried out; in the fourth stage, the execution or development of the system is proposed. In the last stage, control and feedback is proposed, that is, knowing how many people visit the web and the information shared from part to part. The research is concluded by stating that the proposal will contribute to improving the supply of rural beaches of Manta, provided that the support of all the actors in the local tourist scene is guaranteed.
