L’estudi pretén fer una aproximació al conjunt de rutes de molins existents actualment (estiu 2018) a Balears. Des del punt de vista del turisme cultural i la patrimonialització, s’estudiaran els molins i les rutes de Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa i Formentera. S’analitzaran les oportunitats i potencialitats què ofereixen, a més de les mancances que s’hi detecten com a productes turístics i elements patrimonials. L’objectiu principal és poder oferir una visió global què ajudi a aportar noves propostes que puguin millorar i enriquir les rutes existents.

The present study offers an actualised overview of the existing mills in the Balearic Islands (summer 2018). From the cultural tourism and the heritage perspectives both the mills and routes of Mallorca, Eivissa, Menorca and Formentera have been studied. Hence, their potential and the opportunities these buildings offer have been analysed, along with the identified shortcomings as touristic products and as heritage elements. The main purpose is to provide a new insight and new proposals to improve and enrich existing cultural routes.
