    El objetivo del estudio fue describir y comparar la eficacia de ocasión de gol y la eficacia de gol del Real Madrid (RMCF) y del FC. Barcelona (FCB) según los diferentes tipos de posesión (ABP, reanudación y recuperación) en función de la localización del partido y en función del nivel del rival al que se enfrentan. Se analizaron 68 partidos del RMCF y del FCB correspondientes a las 34 primeras jornadas disputadas por cada equipo durante la liga BBVA 2012-13. Los resultados mostraron diferencias de eficacia de ocasión de gol y de gol entre ambos equipos en las reanudaciones y en las recuperaciones en función de la localización. Además, el FCB consiguió mayor eficacia de gol que el RMCF como visitante y ante rivales de nivel medio tras una recuperación del balón.

    The aim of this study was to describe and compare the attack efficiency and the score effectiveness of the Real Madrid (RMCF) and FC. Barcelona (FCB) according to the different types of possession (ABP, restart and recovery) depending on the location of the match and depending on the level of the opponent they face. 68 matches of the RMCF and the FCB corresponding to the first 34 matches played by each team during the BBVA 2012-13 league were analyzed. The results showed differences in the attack efficiency and score effectiveness between both teams in the restarts and recoveries depending on the location. In addition, the FCB achieved greater goal efficiency than the RMCF as a visitor and against medium level opponents after a recovery of the ball
