The tools for metric and graphical survey of architecture have reached extreme precision and reliability in recent years. However, data management methods still need to be explored, particularly when the object of study itself presents a high formal complexity. A reflection is proposed on the challenge that the restitution of the archaeological-architectural heritage still entails in the current context. There is still great difficulty in extracting the necessary results for analyses beyond the generation of reliable threedimensional models. We use as a case study the survey of the walled enclosure of Belver de los Montes that we have carried out using automated photogrammetry in 2020 by the Territorial Service of Culture and Tourism of Zamora of the Junta de Castilla y León.
