Características geométricas de las microcurvas Apolonio-Soddy

    En 1936, en la revista Nature, Frederick Soddy publicaba el poema The kiss precise, relacionando los radios de tres circunferencias tangentes entre si, con el radio de unas cuarta y quinta tangentes simultaneamente a las tres iniciales. Desde entonces son conocidas como las circunferencias de Soddy. Geométricamente, hablamos de un caso particular del clásico problema de Apolonio, en su variante de tres circunferencias.Si situamos tres circunferencias, con centros no alineados y de distintos tamaños, en posición inicial de tangencias simultaneas y procediendo a su expansión radial, los centros de las sucesivas circunferencias Soddy, forman curvas características para esta expansión.La investigación geométrica de este grupo de micro-curvas, es posible gracias a los sistemas CAD, que habilitan precisiones en distancias humbrales, imposibles anteriormente con la resolución Gergonne.Se presentan gráficos y coordenadas de las huellas del movimiento en entornos bien definidos de dichas micro-curvas. A estas huellas les hemos llamado bandas de Apollonius-Soddy.

    In 1936, in the magazine Nature, Frederick Soddy published The kiss precise poem, relating the radio of three tangent circumferences between if, with the radius of fourth and fifth tangents simultaneously to the three initials. Since then they are known like the circumferences of Soddy. Geometrically, we spoke of a particular case of the classic problem of Apolonio, in its variant of three circumferences. If we located three circumferences, with not aligned centers and of different sizes, On guard initial of tangencias synchronize and coming to their radial expansion, the centers of the successive Soddy circumferences, form characteristic curves for this expansion. The geometric investigation of this micro-curved group, is possible thanks to the systems CAD, that qualify precisions in minimun distances, impossible previously with the Gergonne resolution.

    Graphs and coordinates of the tracks of the affluent movement in defined surroundings of micro-curved happiness appear. To these tracks we have called them bands of Apollonius-Soddy.
