  • Current guidelines in Spain for Biomedical waste management produces some confusion and difficulties towards an adequate intra-hospital waste management. Particularly, the classification of chemical rick waste, the different types of containers and packages allowed, the intra hospital transfer and final storage of waste, require to incorporate a more precise regulation. This article analyses the state of the art and proposes some solutions to take into account.
