The palace of Cogolludo in context: a residence for the house and court of the Duke of Medinaceli at the end of the 15th century This papers focuses on a study of the palace of Cogolludo in the context of the house and court of its promoter, Luis de la Cerda, I Duke of Me- dinaceli. Therefore, a new visual reading of the building carry out taking into account the concept of Aristotelian magnificence. Finally, the dates and forms of this house built at the beginning of the Modern Age are refocused, to situate Lorenzo Vázquez de Segovia, master builder, on a new horizon.
