  Sant Martí de les Tombetes és un jaciment arqueològic que evidencia la transició del món antic al món feudal. Durant les últimes campanyes 2013-2018 s’han pogut identificar les fases cronològiques següents: 1) Centre d’explotació i producció romà fortificat. 2) Necròpolis tardoantiga (segles IVVI). 3) Hàbitat, necròpolis i església alt medieval (segles VII-X). 4) Hàbitat, necròpolis i església ple medieval (segles XI-XIII). Des del 2014 s’han pogut identificar diferents tipologies de tombes a la necròpolis que, podrien estar relacionades amb aquests moments cronològics. Això ha permès interpretar el comportament funerari i el funcionament de la necròpolis al llarg de cada fase.

  Sant Martí de les Tombetes is an archaeological site than shows the transition from the ancient world to the feudal world. The latest excavation campaigns (2013-2018) have enabled to define the chronology of the following phases: 1) Roman fortified center of production for harvesting. 2) Late Antique necropolis (IV-VI century). 3) Habitat, necropolis and an early medieval church (VII-X century). 4) Habitat, necropolis and medieval church (XI-XIII century). Since 2014, different types of tombs have been identified in the necropolis, which could be related to these chronological moments. This has allowed interpreting the funerary behavior and the functioning of the necropolis throughout each phase.
