    Gran número de ideomorfos en el Levante peninsular han venido denominándose "Ídolos" . Los tipos más abundantes son los oculados en huesos largos y los ídolos violín o pequeñas piezas realizadas sobre delgadas láminas de hueso. Tradicionalmente se relacionaron con el sureste, pero aquí los contemplamos como la evidencia de conexiones con el oeste de Iberia. Detectados ambos en sitios de habitación y de enterramientos colectivos, representan recursos para la cohesión social. Evocan individuos, fijados mediante símbolos oculados que expresan nexos e identidades.

    A large number of ideomorphs from the Spanish Levant are called 'idols' in the literature. The main types are 'oculus on long bone' and the 'violin' or flat type made from laminar bones. Traditionally linked with south-east. Iberia, here they are regarded as evidence of connections with the West of the peninsula. Found both in habitation sites and necropolises with multiple burials, they are defined as resources for social cohesion. They evoke individuals, remembered in the ocular motifs that express links and identities.
