    A través de la tecnología cada vez es más fácil gestionar el conocimiento en el sistema educativo. Los estudiantes del siglo XXI disponen del apoyo de una variedad de recursos tecnológicos que favorecen la adquisición de nuevas habilidades propias de esta era, los mismos que pueden estar organizados dentro de un Entorno Personal de Aprendizaje (PLE), que es un enfoque en donde los educandos accede a un conjunto de herramientas digitales para autoprepararse. Sin embargo, existen estudiantes con escaso espíritu investigador y poco interés por construir sus propios aprendizajes, razones por las que se presenta este trabajo con el objetivo de analizar el Entorno Personal de Aprendizaje como enfoque pedagógico para fomentar el aprendizaje autónomo en los alumnos. Para ello, se utilizó una investigación documental, exploratoria, con enfoque cualitativo. También, Se trabajó con el método de análisis-síntesis. Llegando a la conclusión que, el PLE ayuda a los alumnos a lograr mayor autonomía en su formación, porque permite acceder al conocimiento a partir de sus necesidades, pudiendo interactuar y compartir experiencias, lo que enriquece su aprendizaje. Para que este sea un enfoque efectivo es fundamental que el docente favorezca el uso de estas herramientas y con ello incentive a los estudiantes a autoprepararse para ampliar sus conocimientos y adquirir las destrezas necesarias para desenvolverse en cualquier ámbito de la sociedad actual.

    Thought the technology, it is becoming easier to manage knowledge for both teachers and students. Students of the 21st century have the support of a range of technological resources that promote the acquisition of new skills typical of this era, which can be organized within a Personal Learning Environment (PLE), which is an approach that allows learners access this set of digital tools to self-prepare. However, there are students with little research spirit and little interest in building their own learning. Due to this, this work is presented with the objective of analyzing the Personal Learning Environment as a pedagogical approach to promote autonomous learning in students. For this purpose, exploratory documentary research with a qualitative approach was used. Also, we worked with the analysis-synthesis method. Coming to the conclusion that the PLE helps students achieve greater autonomy in their training, since they access knowledge based on their needs, being able to interact and share experiences, which enriches their learning. For this to be an effective approach, it is essential that the teacher encourages the use of these tools and thereby encourages students to self-prepare to expand their knowledge and acquire the skills necessary to function in any area of ​​today's society.
