The site of the hermitage of Scardavilla di Sopra in the municipality of Meldola includes two buildings of great historical and archi-tectural value: the ruins of the former Baroque church and the nineteenth-century building called “palazzo del Priore” whose territo-rial extension is approximately 30 hectares of 7 of which include the centuries-old woodland. All this property has recently been ac-quired by a company with national interests for the redevelopment of agricultural activity and the enhancement of fine wine pro-ducts which has seen in this site, which has been neglected for a long time, and with the historic buildings, the former reduced church in a state of ruin and the “palace” in an advanced state of deterioration an opportunity for a valuable and innovative archi-tectural and environmental redevelopment intervention with the recovery of the entire territorial system of environmental value and a productive redevelopment of the farm with a workforce and qualified program of improvement of existing crop
