    El presente trabajo aborda, a través de la Prensa donostiarra de la época, la situación que vive San Sebastián en el verano del año 1923, mientras se fragua, y finalmente triunfa, el golpe de estado del general Miguel Primo de Rivera, destacando la importancia que tendrá esta ciudad, en tanto que corte de verano española, como escenario — junto con Madrid y Barcelona — de esos hechos históricos. Aspecto éste escasamente investigado hasta la fecha.

    By analysing what was published in the written press in San Sebastián at the time, the present study analyses the situation of the city in the summer of 1923, during which period General Miguel Primo de Rivera’s coup d’état was planned and finally carried out. The paper highlights the importance of San Sebastián, both as Spain’s summer court and as the backdrop (alongside Madrid and Barcelona) of these historic events – an aspect that has hardly been studied at all to date.

    Garai hartako Donostiako prentsaren bitartez jorratzen du lan honek Donostiak zer egoera bizi zuen 1923ko udan, Miguel Primo de Rivera jeneralaren estatu-kolpea antolatu eta azkenean gailendu zen bitartean. Espainiako udako gortea zen heinean, hiriak zer-nolako garrantzia izan zuen azpimarratzen du, gertakari historiko haien agertoki gisa –Madrilekin eta Bartzelonarekin batera–. Alderdi hori gutxi ikertu da orain arte.
