  • Resumen
    • The contemporary artistic scene could, somehow, be understood as a privileged setting for sharing the intimacythroughout the art work. One would find place for depth issues in documentaries and artistic expressions, such pointsout Foucault(1985), one could think life as and work of art. This paper is an short essay about how documentaries,in privileging intimacy, daily life, trivial as object of work, could in some ways, inside the scriptures, overflow thelimits between different fields so far very well limited. Our hypothesis is that the work here described move fromone displacement to another: visual arts and cinema. There is, inside the more recent visual arts production fromCeará (Northeast of Brazil), especially documentaries format, one very strong intermediary zone between artisticproduction and documentaries. This the case of Casa da Vovó documentary directed by Victor de Melo, shoot atPoço da Draga, an activist small community, resistant to corporate building speculation. This documentary focuseson the author’s memories himself and his references from the time He would go to his grandmother house. For thiswork, we intend to stick to Casa da Vovó more in depth, looking at contemporary questions throughout the work ofMelo.
