In 1947 was discovered a Calcolithic necropolis in "Mar i Muntanya" site, Alella (Barcelona, Spain). Only 33 bone remains has been preserved until now, most of them skull and mandibular fragments. There is a minimum number of 9 individuals, all of them adults. Originally there was also an infant individual inside a ceramic urn, but was not recovered. The dental study shows a great occlusal wear in most of tooth, resorptions, and alsolots of linear hyploplasias. This alterations of tooth, point to an adult-old population that had had alimentary stress. Further studies of ther remains from close sites as "Can Cues" will contribute to a better knowledge of Alella prehistoric population.
