  La presencia en el registro arqueológico de fósiles de animales tanto marinos como terrestres, es un aspecto que ha sido poco tratado a lo largo de la historiografía. En el presente trabajo presentamos los fósiles procedentes de dos asentamientos de la Cultura Ibérica, tratando el posible significado y el uso que tuvieron para que los habitantes de diferentes asentamientos se preocuparan en traer a sus casas y necrópolis estas piezas paleontológicas, que a su vez se convierten también en piezas arqueológicas susceptibles de aportar información sobe las diferentes sociedades que las recopilaron de su entorno ya sea cercano o lejano.

  The presence in the archaeological record of fossils of both marine and terrestrial animals is an aspect that has been little treated throughout historiography. In the present work we present the fossils from two settlements of the Iberian Culture, discussing the possible meaning and use they had so that the inhabitants of different settlements worried about bringing these paleontological pieces to their homes and necropolises, wich in turn were They also become archaeological pieces capable of providing information about the different societies that collected them from their surroundings, whether close or distant.
