    During the Civil War, the city of Valencia became the capital of the Second Spanish Republic, this circumstance was much more than an anecdotal fact to be included in any monograph, this situation brought about many changes, one of them was undoubtedly to search for and prepare a series of more or less emblematic buildings to be the headquarters of the new institutions that appeared in the city and that had to be fully operational as soon as possible. The identification and analysis of these buildings will be the object of our work.

    Durante la Guerra Civil la ciudad de Valencia se convirtió en capital de la Segunda República Española, esta circunstancia fue mucho más que un dato anecdótico a incluir en cualquier monografía, la nueva coyuntura supuso muchos cambios, uno de ellos fue sin duda buscar y acondicionar una serie de edificios más o menos emblemáticos para ser sedes de las instituciones que aparecieron en la ciudad y que debían estar a pleno rendimiento lo más pronto posible. La identificación y análisis de dichos edificios será el objeto de nuestro trabajo.
