  Si las transferencias artísticas establecidas entre Zaragoza y Nápoles en el segundo tercio del siglo XV parecen explicar la temprana aparición del artesonado en el contexto artístico aragonés de finales de esa misma centuria, la documentación que ha logrado reunirse para la confección de este artículo permite confirmar que la capital aragonesa habría de convertirse en un importante centro difusor de este tipo de estructuras en el contexto artístico hispánico situado entre el Gótico y el Renacimiento.

  If the artistic transfers established between Zaragoza and Naples in the second third of the 15th century seem to explain the early appearance of the coffered ceiling in the Aragonese artistic context at the end of this century, the documentation that has been gathered for the preparation of this article confirms that the Aragonese capital would become an important centre for the dissemination of this type of structures in the Hispanic artistic context between the Gothic and the Renaissance.
