The main purpose of this research is to analyse the opinion and experience of students taking the subject “Geography of the Regions of the World” (Bachelor’s Degrees in Geography, History and Humanities, University of Alicante, Spain) regarding the knowledge and use of Innovation and Communication Technologies (ICT) resources in this subject, between the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years. Methodologically, based on a questionnaire in which 243 students participated, the results show that for the two academic years, ICT knowledge reaches a medium value (value 3 on a Likert Scale) and in terms of degree of use of these tools would also be characterised by an average value. In relation to the assessment of ICT for the teaching of Geography, data are notably positive. Likewise, it should be noted that the analysis of all the items under study confirms that there are no statistically significant differences between the two academic years. For the teachers taking part in this research, the results obtained are notably useful as they provide information on the use and assessment of ICT tools in class according to the evaluation/estimation made by the students (favourable in both cases). It will also allow them to make proposals for improvement in future courses.
