Resumen de Crecimiento en volumen de árbol individual de Quercus robur L. en el norte de la provincia de Lugo

  Se presentan los resultados del crecimiento en volumen de 62 árboles individuales procedentes de 35 parcelas de inventario instaladas en masas de Quercus robur L. en el norte de la provincia de Lugo. Se ha ajustado una función decrecimiento en volumen para árboles dominantes parametrizada en función del índice de sitio. Dividiendo por la edad y derivando dicha función se ha determinado y representado gráficamente el crecimiento medio y el crecimiento corriente respectivamente.

  The results of volume growth of 62 trees of Quercus robur L. from 35 permanent plot installed in Lugo (NW Spain) are showed. A volume growth empirical function including the site index was fitted for dominant trees. The annual volume increment (m3/year) was calculated from the first derivative of the volume growth function. The average volume increment (m3/year) was also estimated when the volume growth function was divided by the age. The volume growth, annual and average volume increment curves were finally plotted.
