  Los artículos que se incluyen en este volumen responden se encuadran en teorías lingüísticas, pero no se desentienden de los otros campos que son imprescindibles para entender correctamente los textos. Ni son ni pretenden ser reseñas ni puestas al día de la bibliografía en las distintas ramas de la lingüística. Tampoco son artículos de investigación original e inédita en su sentido más estricto. El enfoque buscado es el de una divulgación seria y de calidad que ponga al alcance de cualquier filólogo interesado diversos ejemplos de trabajos elaborados desde las tendencias más recientes en lingüística y sobre temas que acaparan la atención de muchos investigadores cuando está a punto de cumplirse el primer cuarto del siglo XXI.

  The articles included in this volume are framed within linguistic theories, but they do not neglect the other fields that are essential for a correct understanding of the texts. They are not, nor do they claim to be, reviews or updates of the literature in the different branches of linguistics. Nor are they original and unpublished research articles in the strictest sense. The approach sought is that of a serious and quality dissemination that makes available to any interested philologist several examples of works elaborated from the most recent trends in linguistics and on topics that attract the attention of many researchers as the first quarter of the 21st century is about to be completed.
