    This article addresses the impact of dubbing into minority languages, namely into Galician, as a linguistic normalisation asset, which is strictly related to the Galician-speaking TV channel TVG. We will use the Galician translation for dubbing of the cartoon series Shin-chan to portray the echo a good (para)translation for dubbing can have on children and young audiences. In order to support this hypothesis, we will rely on the results of a qualitative and quantitative survey which discusses the “Galician version” of the aforementioned cartoon. We wish to emphasise the applications the aforesaid tool can have on research activities through an initial approach. This would lead to a further study on the impact that  children's and young people's thematic TV channel in Galician language could have on the linguistic development of younger generations in Galicia.

    Neste traballo estudaremos o impacto da dobraxe cara a linguas minorizadas, en concreto cara ao galego, como unha ferramenta de normalización lingüística que na comunidade galega está directamente relacionada coa TVG. Empregaremos o exemplo da tradución para a dobraxe galega da serie animada Shin-chan para reflectir a resonancia que unha boa (para)tradución para a dobraxe pode ter no público infantil e xuvenil. Para sustentar esta hipótese apoiarémonos nos resultados dunha enquisa cuantitativa e cualitativa sobre a “versión galega” dos devanditos debuxos animados. Pretendemos salientar a utilidade que este tipo de instrumentos pode ter no labor investigador mediante unha primeira achega de cara a estudar o impacto que unha canle de televisión temática infantil e xuvenil en lingua galega podería posuír no desenvolvemento lingüístico das xeracións máis novas do país.
