Faith increases...
"Faith untried may be true faith, but it is sure
to be little faith, and it is likely to remain dwarfish as long as it is
without trials. Faith never prospers so well as when all things are against her
. . . No flowers wear so lovely a blue as those that grow at the foot of the
frozen glacier; no stars gleam so brightly as those that glisten in the polar
sky; no water tastes so sweet as that which springs amid the desert sand; and
no faith is so precious as that with lives and triumphs in adversity. Tried
faith brings experience. You could not have believed your own weakness had you
not been compelled to pass through the rivers; and you would have never have
known God's strength had you not been supported amid the water-floods. Faith
increases in solidity, assurance, and intensity the more it is exercised with
tribulation. Faith is precious, and its trial is precious, too.

Hope forever...
Dear friends,
This past year has been a challenging one for me. I continue to struggle with the possible effects of Lyme's Disease or perhaps from something still unknown to us. The summer months brought relief, but this fall the fatigue and muscle issues returned. We hope another neurologist appointment at the end of the month will bring clarity and treatment options. The waiting is difficult. My camera is too heavy to hold for long periods of time right now, but I still find joy in taking pictures when I can. Last night I couldn't sleep...painful joints keep me awake. In the darkness I walked through the house and noticed the brilliance of the stars out my windows...
"You dance over me, while I am unaware"...
I found my camera and took three photos out the window.
"Lord, I am amazed by you...
a sleepless night brought me a glimpse of your majesty.
...How you love me!"
Thank you in advance for your prayers,
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
—Romans 12:12
The Lord your God is in your midst, the Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.
—Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is in your midst, the Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

Don’t you know that day dawns after night,
showers displace drought, and spring and summer follow
winter? Then, have hope! Hope forever, for
God will not fail you!
