Friday Photo Flashback 3

I walked with a young mom to her car the other day. Her little boy was fussing and he was losing  his hat and mittens along the way. The cart kept getting stuck in the snow. And I said the most surprising thing to her..."I miss days like these".  And sometimes I really do. But, when I see what wonderful adults our two kids have turned into, to know who they have fallen in love with, and to see where God is leading them, I would never want to go back in time. So next time I will just say, "It keeps getting better", because it really does.
Merry Flashback Christmas!
Thanks, Alicia, for hosting here.

Friday Photo Flashback 2

This photo is only slightly disturbing because it makes me seem so much older than I feel. Was that really our family car and not some vintage model we happen to come across? Are my sister and I wearing anklets? Yikes! I'm linking up with Alicia today for Friday Photo Flashback, but I see it more as Confession Friday. That's me in the gray coat...I was born in 1958.

Friday Photo Flashback

I thought I would join Alicia on her blog today and post a picture for Friday Photo Flashback. My dad loved to take pictures and this one was taken in Door County, Wisconsin, probably around 1965. I love that my mom has a purse and is wearing a dress in the photo. I'm not so sure what my sister (in red) was thinking, but I'm sure I was in heaven sitting on that pony.
