What makes a good photo? Usually it's the composition, the clarity, the color, the light. But sometimes a not-so-great photo is good because of what it reminds you of...the weight of your grandson in your arms. I'm sure my sister, pictured above, would agree.

I love google. I can't imagine life without it. One of the reasons for going to Michigan was to paint a mural for this little helper's sister, due next month. My niece and I googled "nursery ideas" and picked our favorite. I sketched out the idea here in Wisconsin, took the painting supplies along on the train, and 48 hours later the room was done. If only cooking was as easy!
