Caterpillar Craziness

I always liked blogging. Facebook and Instagram are nice, but probably a bit too "instant" for me. That said, I've had issues posting pictures here...
but this is too caterpillar crazy not to try!
It started with a few caterpillars that needed milkweed to eat.
Every stem I found had more eggs and more caterpillars on it.
And they grew and GREW and they ate and ATE!
And then they turned into chrysalides
And now I have 16 left after giving some away for others to watch...
I see an exciting future...happening again and again!

Hello!

Hello!
Just a quick note....
We are going to Minnesota on Sunday mid-day. We will spend the night with family💗. On Monday we will go to an appointment at Mayo Clinic at 12:30 and head home from there.
We are asking for another set of eyes....I guess a second opinion of sorts. Insurance doesn't cover this visit....our care is here anyway. I hope it's sunny for the ride, we usually go places if it rains and if Bruce can't be in the fields. Sun would be fun! I won't post an update unless something really changes. We don't anticipate that.
Our field workers haven't been real dependable this week.....that would be another prayer request.
Glad for the sunshine. We had a tree guy here this week.. We have been cleaning up ...OK, I've been giving "guidance". ðŸ˜‰
Thanks for your prayers too. It is well with our souls....
XO

Western Wisconsin Wanderings

Last week we took 30 hours and explored Western Wisconsin. There was a learning curve with my issues and we tried to figure them out as best as possible. The weather wasn't real warm, but not having leaves on the trees gave us magnificent views.  It's so much more hilly there than here.
Just beautiful!

Mini arboretum

A real beavers dam and yes, we did see a beaver and we did drive through the water
...it wasn't my idea.

Stunning views everywhere

Our "all terrain" vehicle. Kidding
What a beautiful part of the state.

Barns...

I have many barn photos too...the stark beauty of their outlines captivates me. The weather is changing almost hourly. I (hopefully) can say we are done with snow. We miss Bugsy in the car, and we share his enthusiasm for car rides. And apparently, barns too.

Catching up....

I have so many photos to post...I thought I would use a few. What a difference a few weeks makes. We are having unseasonably warm weather....mid 40's today, so this snow is history. I need to remind myself its still going to be winter for  long time.

Thanks for stopping by!

New territory

A dear friend took me on a car ride to Dolton,Wisconsin, about an hour and a half from my home. I took over 100 picture out the car window....narrowed them down to my favorite 10....this was a new territory for me....I saved them and POOF! When I went to find them they were gone...completely from my computer...hard drive, recycle bin, and external hard drive. After an extensive search, I found these deleted ones. I'm glad the memories of good conversations, lunch by a river and beautiful views are forever in my mind.

“Do for one what you wish you could do for all.”

And this one...me....is very thankful!
