Computers!

I still haven't heard any news about my computer or about the photos on the hard drive. I also can't download new photos...so I took a photo of the yard today with my phone. I've been on a pruning spree this week, the trees have grown so much since we moved here that all the gardens are becoming shade gardens....and I need summer sun and color. So haircuts all around!

Ugh...

My computer didn't crash, it just stopped working and the external hard drive back up? Didn't.

After the Dell computer guy left yesterday, I could tell something was still wrong with my computer. Finally I figured it out, the computer thought it was May 23, 2007. Nice. It's spring again and I am 49 years old. I like that. So for today, I'm going to enjoy it. Can you feel the warm breeze?

Well, I guess that's how I'm feeling! Thanks to the Dell tech, I now have a new motherboard and hard drive. Thanks to my husband and his attention to backups, I recovered all of my pictures. I lost Photoshop Elements, but was able to recover my other editing programs. I can't download pictures with ease...yet. Hmmm. My biggest loss...my "Favorites", you know, the list of sites you visit from time to time. I had quite a list actually. Sites with photography tutorials, a site that alerted me to the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights, Bible favorites, where to order Frontline for the dogs... nothing life changing, just less convenient now. I did lose my list of favorite bloggers too. I'm sure over time I will find everyone again. But learn a lesson from me. Save your favorites to a folder that you back up. It could have been so simple!
Anyway, it's snowing...time to take a few new pictures! Yippee!

Defrag

My computer is still having problems. So no new pictures. No editing.

 Just a lot of down time while the computer defrags once again.
