Summer Nights

I love summer, especially summer nights. I was about to head to bed last night when I caught a glimpse of it out the window...heat lightning. Well, that's what we used to call it growing up in Chicago. I remember sitting on the porch on hot summer evenings watching the lightning on rain-less nights. It was magical. And that's what we had here tonight too...for hours. You could still see the stars in the sky above the clouds. And there was no thunder. I loved it. I know that technically this photo is poor, but I didn't delete it, because it reminds me of summer nights in Chicago.
