Smart Keys, Idea to Profit
This is a summary of a 16 months journey. From idea to profitable business. The idea was born from a personal need. I wanted a tool that could help me proofread my texts on my phone or computer. My main inspiration was Grammarly. But better. (Delusion is…

Live in different places
We’ll be nomading this year. We want to explore the US a bit more, looking for other places to live for a while. To be honest, I think it’ll be hard to beat the Bay Area.

- Work
- Bird Rise is off to a great start with some solid numbers. We’ve made a bunch of improvements and we’re still really excited about this project, especially since we staying in a place full of birds. Especially the Toucans, oh my, they are beautiful. I wish I had my tele lens and camera here. Anyway, we decided to focus more of our time on it instead other projects.
- Still helping Prospera with tech-related challenges. It’s my mission-driven quota working with awesome people.
- SWC is doing a different Earth Month this year, it’s a Green Movie Night, and I’m helping the team with some graphics.
- Relaxing
- I’ve been really chill while my mom and dad took care of me after my surgery, super grateful for their support in every part of my life. The first few days were tough, but now I’m breathing great. I met some relatives I hadn’t seen in years, like Nata, Marquinhos, and Tati. I’m also hanging out in Ratones with Leandra’s family.
- Had a blast reading A Practical Guide for Levitation and some graphic novels. Right now, I’m tackling some heavy stuff, The Sum of Us.
- Exercise
- I was told not to work out for 40 days. I gave it a little shot but quickly saw it wasn’t a great idea. Just keeping track of the days.

Why am I writing here?
Every time I start writing about something, I end up doing some pretty unexpected research or connecting the dots to an insight. Those things usually turn into rabbit holes, which I totally love falling into.
I wish I had written more when I was younger, especially as a teenager. I always have so much fun reading stuff I wrote 20 years ago.
It also helps me lock in some memories, which I think is really important these days. I hope it can also help someone else on their journey. Plus, it makes me grateful and helps me remember the people who were somehow part of it.
