It's been over 10 years since the release of Alien Na Favela, an album I produced together with the talented singer and songwriter Yanez Servadei. Finally, our musical paths have reunited to bring "Beleza Se Vai" to life, with Yanez as the singer and co-author.
This is an authentic samba, paying tribute to its tradition and roots. The lyrics offer a poetic reflection on the passage of time and the fleeting nature of beauty, which fades away to make room for something deeper.
I produced it in two versions, both maintaining an acoustic sound: a vibrant samba enredo and a more delicate version, floating between bossa nova and samba jazz.
After this single, an EP will follow with various more electronic versions aimed at the dancefloor.
