We definitely got this going later into the spring than planned since the weather here was dipping below zero at night to the end of May and add into that an injury U suffered and well, the garden was started a few weeks late! I was able to get everything I needed to build these garden beds at RONA. Every spring season, ranunculus bloom and produce several flowers, and while they’re doing that, they’re also starting to produce extra corms under ground. Once temperatures consistently reach over 75 degrees F, the flower production will stop and the ranunculus will go dormant. When that happens you can start the process of saving them! 1. You need to let the foliage die down naturally. This feeds the corms underground and will give them the stored energy to provide beautiful flowers for you the next year.
