These earrings are a mix if handmade copper chain links, my own handmade copper beads, vintage chains, glass beads and stone beads, as well as some bits of copper cut into shapes and textured either on the rolling mill or by hammer. Each of these earrings will be different from the next. Inspired by the common paperclip, these earrings transcend the ordinary thanks to their industrial design. To create subtle texture, the artist hammers the elongated sterling silver forms before layering them into a playfully kinetic composition.
