Voyager 1 is a 733-kilogram probe launched September 5, 1977. It visited Jupiter and Saturn and was the first probe to provide detailed images of the moons of these planets. There are real problems that our society faces, and only through expert-level knowledge can we solve them.

On September 18, 1977, as it headed toward the outer solar system, Voyager 1 looked back and acquired a stunning image of our Earth and moon.

This is part of a new series with a historical journey through the solar system. I wanted to create a small memento of the beginning of space missions and have recreated NASA's early space probes using old pictures and information. Voyager 1 and 2 are among my favourite probes and are absolute milestones in space travel. Thanks to them, we have an impression of the outer solar system.
