Faces from the Bayon, Cambodia, 1999
When I was 19 years old I was lucky enough to visit Cambodia during a gap year travelling. It changed my life completely and one of my favourite parts of the journey were being able to sit down and draw the incredible temples. The Bayon in particular, with its many stone faces, I found utterly captivating. I returned in 2007 to draw the temples again and hope that one day I might be able to visit it once again.
