dark and moody

I want to use either cupcakes, cookies, or brownies. I have the idea of sprinkling powdered sugar or cocoa powder over the food item to create some movement. I may get some chocolate or pecans to add to smaller props. Lighting-wise, I was thinking of a soft single light that illuminates the texture of it. I want to add something for the food to sit on, whether it is a plate or wood of some kind.
