Wondergarten on Instagram: "Winter Mobiles ❄️ Forming borax crystals over cedar branches 🤗 This little experiment is so fascinating for the children to watch as crystals form like ice over the piney branches. Hung in the window for the sunlight to catch, these little ornaments are a wonderful way to celebrate the beauty of winter. Lesson included in our Winter Curriculum for Ice Week! Safety Note: Borax solution should be prepared away from children and should not be ingested."

Celena Kinsey on Instagram: "I did this a few years ago because it’s a CLASSIC experiment and it’s such a fun project for kids and I decided to do it again this year and make a lab sheet for my oldest to fill out. I think I might play around with different types of salt and see what differences we can observe too! Comment “science” for the experiment and lab sheet (it’s free ❤️). #homeschool #scienceforkids #scienceexperiment #valentines #homeschoolscience #homeschoolmom"
