I also join in with GISH (The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt) every year so I'll share some of my entries for that too. I love how it always gets me to think outside of the box and especially love making food art!

I made this beautiful vegetable flower centrepiece for a GISH challenge (the Greatest international scavenger hunt). the challenge was to make a flower arrangement/table centerpiece for a wedding but out of expired veggies instead of flowers. all the vegetables I used were off/going off so there was no food waste. I was really happy with the result, especially as I'd never trained any vegetables carving before. I think I totally nailed the wedding vibes! I was really happy with this beautiful vegetable display. I used leeks (which makes surprisingly beautiful flowers), courgettes and my beloved potatoes (of course). I did consider adding in carrots and sweet potatoes but I think keeping the white, cream and green colour scheme made it feel more wedding like. #foodart
