Jackie Akerberg 🌱 Healthy Recipes on Instagram: "READ THE CAPTION 👇🏼 If you’re headed to a Memorial Day party this weekend, make this Layered Fruit Salad by @jackfruitfulkitchen - I guarantee you’ll be invited back. 😏 Not only is this layered canister salad beautiful and a total show stopper at the door, but you can also make it ahead of time, transport it easily and it’s way more exciting and delicious than your typical fruit salad! This layering technique is key because the strawberries release natural sugars into the light and refreshing dressing while the rest of the fruit stays perfectly fresh and crisp. When you’re ready to serve, simply flip upside down and this beautiful fruit salad dresses itself! Comment RECIPE and I’ll send you the link for the recipe, bowl, and canister
Kelly Welk on Instagram: "Go find those forgotten oranges or mandarins and let’s make candied orange peels. While the kids are putting legos together, creating in their new watercolor sketch books and in between puzzle building I’m putzing around the kitchen finding forgotten oranges and simmering pots of candied orange peels. This kitchen project has the best reward of yes the candied oranges but also the orange simple syrup makes the yummiest winter cocktails and spritzers! Here are the steps to candy orange peels: - cut the rind off the orange - slice in 1/4 inch slices - simmer the slices for 15 minutes in water, discard that water (this is taking the bitterness off the orange peels) - now in that same pot, mix 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water. Place it over medium heat until the sugar i
Saransh Goila on Instagram: "Strawberry 🍓 Brûlée Cheese Bites are going to be the easiest Christmas Canapes you can ever make. While the blowtorch gives you the best results toasting the sugar from the top with a spoon also works! Don't forget to slice the strawberry a little from the bottom so it can sit and sugar does not skip. Don't overdo the Brûlée or strawberry will go soft and release juices. Stuff in between a generous cube of amul cheese and a leaf of basil. Old school pineapple cheese stick ki yaad aayegi. If you immediately scrub the spoon it'll not get many marks but it's safe to assume mummy won't like it as it'll turn a little yellowish, so hide it 😂 Thank you @carolinagelen for inspo 🍓"
Crowded Kitchen on Instagram: "Cherry Bounce Part 2 for Day 17 of our Recipe Advent Calendar! 🍒 If you made a batch of cherry bounce when we first shared this in September, now’s the time to open it up! If you missed part 1, cherry bounce is a sweet liqueur made with cherries, sugar (we used honey) and typically brandy or bourbon. It’s popular for the holidays, so you’re supposed to start late summer to enjoy now! A few days ago, we added in 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole allspice, a few cloves and a cardamom pod for extra holiday flavor. This is totally optional, but feel free to add it today so it will be ready for next weekend! Once your cherry bounce is ready, strain it and keep a bottle stashed in the fridge (it tastes best chilled!). The infused alcohol can be stored at room tempera
