"nevermore"
this album is for my father, who lost his life to a fentanyl and methamphetamine overdose earlier this year.

he had been absent for a majority of my life, but for the time he was present, it was hell.
like most people, he had his good moments, but he would continuously realapse into old habits and become abusive to me and my mom. i held onto a hope that he would one day overcome his struggle with alcoholism and drug addiction.
he dropped contact with me 3½ years ago, yet after all he's put us through, i still miss him. i wish i could've had one more chance to make amends; to show him how far i've come as a musician and a person, but i'll never get another chance.

i hope you are finally free from your burdens, dad.
