Oh my days, how do I love this album? Let me count the ways. A kind of supergroup of 4 talented musicians who've come to together to make something extremely special. Yes, it leans heavily on classic MPB and Tropicalia classics, but it wears its influences lightly on its sleeve not least because the songwriting is uniformly fantastic throughout. It manages to sound fresh while feeling like you've known it all your life. What a find this band are. Thank you Mr Bongo for releasing this!

A treasure trove of cuts and flavours. The Shades of Love - Come Inside is pure disco banger but there’s so much on here to love - and for every part of the day or night. The bill withers bonus gives new life to a song I thought I never needed to hear again. Brilliant.
