I love this! When I saw the Real Genius cover I said to myself this better be good and it didn’t disappoint, especially with the House reimagining of the Comsat Angels- I’m Falling, which is from the Real Genius soundtrack. Then the next track, while it seems wasn’t derived from the movie, still holds it own with a nice driving beat.

In my experiences so far, slushwave can be hit-or-miss for me. Fortunately, this one is a hit. It's phenomenal background focus music, with plenty of long droning and walls of sound at certain parts. In fact, some of it genuinely reminds me of elements present in post-rock, which is one of my all-time favorite music genres. In terms of its sonic aesthetics, it really does seem to channel memories of the utopian, futuristic cities we imagined as kids. Bittersweet, but beautiful listen!
