The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #161 - I is for Inks
We have a gorgeously inky Edna as our inspiration graphic for this challenge!
I do love playing with my inks and had a fabulous time with a new Visible Image stencil and this gorgeously fuchsia Distress Ink. The new toys didn't end there as I couldn't resist a little Lockdown treat of a cute set of girlies from Kraftin' Kimmie. I paired the skater girl with a nice snarky sentiment and then layered her onto an inky layer created with a beautiful Hero Arts flower and Parrot coloured ink from Altenew.
I have to say that I really enjoyed making this card! My sisters have inked-up some fabulousness and we have a new Queen - so come along and join the fun!

Seize the Birthday - Totally Tropical
I'm delighted to be the Surprise Party Guest again over at Seize the Birthday. The theme for this challenge is a fun one: Totally Tropical.
It took me a little while to come up with an idea that didn't involve cocktails, but eventually I decided to break out some Stampin' Up! goodies and the card progressed quite quickly after that.
I really enjoyed colouring this little Toucan from the Bird Banter set. The sentiment also comes from this set and the gorgeous Stampin' Up! paper makes the perfect tropical background.
You can join the challenge here.
Stay safe, everyone.

Christmas Kickstart - Reminder
Hi everyone, I hope that you are all keeping well and staying safe as Lockdown begins to ease in some parts of the world. In some ways time seems to pass slowly during these strange, socially isolated days, and yet I'm still surprised that we've already reached reminder time for Challenge #31 - Wreathed in Christmas Smiles!
Our elf for this challenge is the lovely Robyn from Waterlily Cards and to say that together we've been having a blast with this theme would be putting it mildly!
Robyn has a tutorial AND two fabulous cards on her blog to help further inspire you for Challenge #31. Here's a little peek at one of her cards.
Here's another wreath card from me:
I used a favourite stamp from Penny Black called Crystal Wreath and embossed it with gold powder. I cut the numbers from a piece of very old gold card. It was given to me by a friend and has Christmas trees and patterns on it. It's not my taste at all, but looks lovely when you can only see little bits of it!
There's still about two weeks left of this challenge and the linky gallery is looking gorgeous, however Robyn and I would love for you to add a few more cards, so why not come and join the fun!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #160 - Y is for Yellow
Hi there crafters and welcome to another fun, snarky challenge from the sisterhood! As you can see Edna is decked out in full Southern Belle style and obviously about to head to her debutante ball.
I know yellow isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm definitely growing in my appreciation of this sunshiny colour!
I needed a belated birthday card so I inked-up this fabulous VLVS Wagnerian lady and paired her with a computer-made sentiment. The background is a fabby new stencil from Funky Fossil.
The inside looks like this:
I was inspired in my choice of stamp/theme by the current challenge over at Time Out Challenges:
There are some great cards in their linky gallery and the DT inspiration cards are fab.
The sisters have created some brilliant cards and we have a fabulous guest queen too, so why not head on over and take a look!
Stay safe!

Seize the Birthday - Surprise Birthday Guest!
Hi Peeps, I hope that everyone is doing ok and staying safe.
Do you like my funky new badge? I certainly do, and was totally amazed when Nancy got in touch to ask me to be the Surprise Party Guest over at Seize the Birthday. Thanks so much, I'm thrilled to be guesting with you guys!
The theme is a fun one, and I decided to go with a colour that I'm growing to love: yellow.
I really do love this image from Picket Fence and could use her over and over again. The background is my favourite stencil (I've lost the packaging) and the circular greeting is from a Simon Says Stamp set which I've had for ages but never used.
I hope you'll come and play along in this lovely challenge.
Stay safe!

I'm a Happy Stamper!
Hi guys, I hope that everyone is doing alright and keeping safe.
I needed very little prompting to play along in the new Happy Little Stampers Challenge as I've had the idea for this card in my head for a couple of weeks.
I kept it all very simple as this is a CAS challenge and used a circle stencil to create the greenery and the pond. Then I added some stamping, did a little MFT die cutting and a very cute Hero Arts croc. Three clear sequins finished things off. Quite quick and simple, but I'm pretty happy with the result.
The DT cards are lovely for this challenge and it's such a nice theme for these difficult times as we could all do with a smile or two.
Take care, keep safe.

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #31 - Wreathed in Christmas Smiles
Hi friends, I hope that you are all doing alright during the current situation. I'm happy to be spending lots of time crafting and building my stash of Christmas cards.
It's time for a new Christmas Kickstart Challenge and a new elf!
I'm delighted welcome another long term blogging buddy of mine: Robyn O from Queensland, Australia. I think I first got to know Robyn through the Hero Arts Flickr Group (plus the original incarnation of Card Chain Challenge), and I've always been a fan of her gorgeous cards.
Challenge #31 - Wreathed in Christmas Smiles!
We'd like to see a Christmas wreath or wreaths on your card.
I really wasn't sure about this card as it's a little 'busy' for me, but Robyn assures me it's OK so I'll trust her judgement and I hope you like it too! The wreath die is from Pinkfresh Studios and it's really well designed so you don't have to spend ages cutting out all the little pieces.
Here's a CAS version in cream kraft and gold:
Rudolph has come up with a gorgeous Random Raffle prize for this challenge:
Robyn and I really hope you'll come and play along with this challenge!

Card Chain Challenge Reveal - April 2020
We have another lovely Reveal over at The Card Chain Challenge! There may be a few gaps due to the current world situation, but we're still doing our best to keep this chain of crafty friendship wrapping the globe as best we can!
Our options for April were:
Our options for April were:
Theme options: The Movies, hats, friendship
Product/Technique: Glitter or brads.
I got very excited with the 'hats' option and knew immediately which stamp I'd be reaching for!
This is a real oldie from Hero Arts but isn't she just gorgeous? I masked her and then added a background using my favourite stencil and some lovely Versa Cube chalk ink.
My recipient for this month was Joanne in Northumberland, UK. I was thrilled to receive this fabulous card from my sender, Hilary.
Isn't it a beaut? You can read all the details about how she made it here.
The May Challenge sign up is still open and we'd love you to come and play along.
Stay safe.
The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #159 - M is for Magic
You gotta feel a whole heap of sympathy for that rabbit - one minute hanging out with his bunny buddies and the next playing a starring role in Edna's latest antics. No wonder he looks a little shocked!
There's another fun challenge on offer from the sisterhood and it's one which you can interpret in a variety of ways. For my card I went with the magic of fairytale dragons using a mix of stamps from Katzelkraft and Mama Elephant.
Hope you'll come and join us!
