Christmas Kickstart Challenge #91 - Colourful Christmas

 

It's time for a brand new Christmas Kickstart Challenge and I'm delighted to welcome the lovely Faith from Daffodil Cards as our elf for the new month. I feel blessed to have Faith as a Follower, and now a friend, as she leaves the sweetest comments.

Exact matching isn't necessary, but we'd like to see our palette reflected in your card, please. You can see Faith's gorgeous card by heading over to the main blog. 

Here's my card. Unfortunately, the photo-editing process has taken all the beige/pinky tones out of the picture, but trust me they are there on the reindeer's face and belly! I'm not sure why the brown tones aren't shown in the palette at the side as they are definitely in the picture. 

I love this little skating reindeer, having fallen for this card created by Di Wray for a previous Christmas Kickstart Challenge. The snowflakes come from various sets and were stamped in ink, and some were heat embossed.

Rudolph was delighted I used one of his kin for my card, and so provided an extra lovely prize for our October Random Raffle:

The Card Chain Challenge - October Reveal

It's time for another gorgeous Reveal over at The Card Chain Challenge!

During October we had 21 participants who exchanged cards across the globe this month. Our total number of exchanged cards is a totally fabulous 2,871 thus far. 

For this challenge most players were inspired by the rather lovely colour combo and the beautiful season that is Autumn.

I received this little beauty from Marga in Spain...

  

and sent this little piece of unicorn craziness all the way to Dee in Kenya.

I was gifted the cute unicorn (from Gummiapan stamps) by my crafting buddy and partner in crime Gail. I couldn't wait for an opportunity to have him/her snoozing on a soft cloud.

If you want to join in the fun, the November sign up has a few more days to run and after that you can sign up for the January 2020 Challenge from 7th December to 6th January. We have a little break in December to accommodate the Festive Season. All cards exchanged for the January Challenge will be revealed on the CCC blog on 2nd February 2020. 

The Card Chain Challenge is an event where everybody wins. Basically, you make a card for the person above you on the chain and you receive a card from the person below you on the chain. It's a personalized swap, sort of, and it's a ton of fun!
